- You will keep me in perfect peace, because my mind is stayed on You, Lord – Isaiah 26:3.
- I cast down imaginations and every high thing (thought) that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and I bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ having a soberness and readiness in my mind to avenge my rebellions or disobedient thoughts – 2 Corinthians 10:5-6.
- I will not worry about anything, but I will pray about everything and thank God He hears me. I cast all care on the Lord because He cares for me, and I let the peace of God which passes all understanding keep my heart and mind in Christ Jesus – 1 Peter 5:7; Philippians 4:6,7.
- I think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report. Whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy, I think on these things – Philippians 4:8.
- Jesus left me His peace; therefore my heart will not be troubled or afraid. I will trust in Him – John 14:27.
- I let the peace of God rule my heart and act as the umpire of my life – Colossians 3:15. (The umpire of a baseball game calls the plays in the game. Whatever he says is the final word. I let God’s peace have the final word in my life.)
- Great peace have they who love thy law, and nothing will by any means offend them – Psalm 119:165.
- I follow after (pursue) peace with all men and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord – Hebrews 12:14.
