BOOK INTRODUCTION

My name is Dawn Kellum, author of The Power Within: My Experience with the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for coming along with me on this journey to my witness of the Holy Spirit of God in my life. I believe that I was inspired by the Holy Spirit of my Heavenly Father to write this book.

This is a book about how, as I surrender to the leading of my loving Heavenly Father, His Holy Spirit leads, guides, teaches, comforts, reveals and so much more. Much of the content in this book was gathered from about 8 years of documented testimonies, recorded visions, daily words of encouragement, some posted articles from my blog womenunspotted.com and more.

You will read about my personal testimonials on how God made a way for me and my family; stories of deliverance, prophetic visions I received that manifested and how God reveals situations. The book also contains me and my sister-in-law’s testimonials about seeing the afterlife, my personal reports of miraculous healings and recorded amazing divine interventions. You will also hear about a vision of me seeing my child I regretfully aborted many years ago who is now grown and in the presence of God.

There are parts in this book about the power of love and forgiveness, powerful yoke-breaking prayers, words of faith and hope and spiritual insight to encourage and inspire.

The book begins on the subject of surrendering to a loving Heavenly Father who has our best interest at heart. Then I expound on His greatness and abiding in His presence. I continue on this journey to write about reasons why I love Jesus. Onward, I talk about the promises of God and meditation on the belief that I am who God says I am. Progression continues to personal testimonials, miraculous occurrences, divine favor, spiritual insight and God’s power to heal, deliver and reveal through His Holy Spirit.

Err on the side of caution as you proceed further to witness my prophetic visions where I document hearing God’s voice speaking to me and feeling His presence. God has given me grace to deal with some of the toughest visions. I trust Him to take care of me no matter what I face or deal with.

As you continue through the book you may understand more about the importance of appreciating life, the power of love and forgiveness. Hang on as I continue to document accounts of grief and how the Holy Spirit sends comfort.

Come along on this journey to behold me and my sister-in-law’s inspiring experiences of seeing the afterlife – where believers in Jesus Christ go after this life on earth is over.  To be absent from the body is to be present with God.

As you charter through, I document peculiar, amazing, bizarre and funny incidents.

As we near the end of the book you are routed into powerful prayers, words of faith and hope as well as wisdom for the time we are in now because “The Bridegroom Cometh.”

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

Romans 8:26-27 ESV
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
