People create statues of various objects of worship; otherwise known as idols. They seek to embody their gods within the confines of statues.  They want to place their god in a form to their liking as an object of worship so that they can live any way they like and create their own laws and philosophies on how to live.

They don’t want to submit to the only one, true and living God. God said that He does not want any other god before Him. Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and Him ONLY shalt thou serve. We are not to have any other gods before the ONLY one, true and living God. We are not to bow down to any other god other than the ONLY one, true and living God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As referenced by the apostle Paul in Acts 17  we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. Human beings cannot create a statue of God. God just is. God existed even before we as mere human beings understood the term statue. God is from everlasting to everlasting. God is not a created being.  God exists always. We are His creation. We are to submit ourselves to Him and His will and abide by His word.

It is God that giveth to all life and breath and all things. We are not able to live, move or have our being without God. God is like the potter. We, as human beings, are like the clay. Let God make us and mold us into how  He wants us to be. Since ALL things work out together for the good of them that love the Lord and to them that are called according to His purpose, God is bringing out the best in you.

Let God’s will be done.  You are not smarter than God. You must seek God daily for everything. You must acknowledge the Lord in all your ways and He surely WILL direct your path. He will make your pathways bright because only He knows which path is the best and the brightest for you. The thoughts that He thinks of you are to give you a bright future and hope. When it seems like things are not going your way, release your hands off of the mold that you are trying to make God from and submit your will to God’s will and God’s way. Acknowledge him and have faith in Him. God is spirit and we worship HIM in spirit and in TRUTH.  See your way through the eyes or the perspective of the word of God and trust God. Seek the Lord our God, the only one, true and living God with all your heart, your mind, your soul and your spirit.

Submit to no other gods. Worship nothing else but God. Daniel remained steadfast in not worshiping any other gods and God blessed him tremendously and delivered him from being eaten by lions. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did not bow down to other gods and God delivered them from being burned by fire. Serve God in sincerity even unto the death. Love not your life SO much that you are not willing to give it up serving Him.

 2 Timothy 4:7-8 instructs believers to fight the good fight. Finish your course. Keep the faith! Henceforth there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you at that day: and not to you only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
